So the latest designer to collaborate with the high street department store is the ubiquitous Mr Henry Holland. (Though in all fairness he seems to have been on the down low for the last few months.).
The announcement came today as Debenhams announced an increase in sales and profit for the last year to August 29th. The range is aimed at the 17 to 25 year old market and aims to “translate House of Holland to the high street”.
What is even more exciting is that unlike a lot of other high street collaborations who offer a seasonal collection here and there, H! by Henry Holland is set to be a permanent feature at Debenhams. Prices range from a teeny tiny €7.75 to an affordable €93 and will include bold print dresses and signature prnt totes.
Of the collaboration, Henry Holland said rather formally, “This is a very exciting development for the House of Holland brand. I’m thrilled to be on a roster with such esteemed names and to be working with such a great business partner as Debenhams”.
This is one collaboration that I am keen to see, I love House of Holland slogan Tees they are the brand. I really hope to see them in the H! collection, it would be a crime if they didn´t include them in some way. H! is exclusive to Debenhams UK and ROI and is set to hit stores spring 2010!
