You’d be forgiven for thinking high-street shoe shop, Schuh is all about Vans, Converse and Ugg Boots; and while they do have these kinds of shoes in bucket loads, their AW09 collection has re-booted their on-trend fashion status. I was invited to preview said collection this afternoon at the Dundrum store and I wastotally and pleasantly surprised by what they have to offer. It seems their in-house designers and buyers have done their fashion homework. They have created their own versions of so many of the AW09 catwalk styles I didn’t know what to look at first, but booties it was.
It’s all about the ankles with booties, never higher than your lower calf is the boot height for this season. From suede to leather, with buckles, studs and hidden platforms, the new Schuh collection will be solving all our autumn / winter bootie needs. These Suede Tuxedo booties are €110, and come in black, fawn and pink.
