Jimmy Choo arrived in Dublin this morning; at least its reps did anyway, to showcase their new AW09 collection to the Dublin media.
Exclusive to Brown Thomas and exclusive to Ireland are these two boots made with Donegal Tweed. The riding boot is made with the softest leather enabling it to age and become unique to the wearer. The bootie has a blue Donegal Tweed lining, the top of which can be turned down to give slouchy look. These boots will only be available in Ireland which is pretty darn amazing!
The rest of the collection was all about the heels and the embellishments; the new ‘Blade’ heel was all over the catwalk line and appears across the collection; these heels continued the pink leopard print from the rest of the shoe, all the way down the heel. Combined with studs, rivets, cutaways, leopard print, suede lace, mesh and buckles gives this collection the ability to accessorise any AW09 trend.
I adore the suede lace that adorns these bags and shoes.
Of their amazing new collection the company says “Jimmy Choo dives into the post punk era when Siouxsie Sioux and Debbie Harry reigned supreme channelling the era’s anarchic spirit.”
