It stars Audrey Tautou as a woman on a train to Istanbul who falls for a fellow passenger. Looking every inch the sexy and beguiling woman she is supposed to be, Tautou’s exquisite natural beauty pours out from the screen in every scene. The film also sees Amélie writer and director, Jean Pierre Jenuet reunited with the actress, again in a directorial role. If you were in any doubt of his ability to represent romance on the silver screen, A Very Long Engagement, will do everything to convince you. The 2004 WWI movie stars Tautou as a young woman desperately searching the trenches for her fiancé (played by Sebastian Japrisot) who is feared dead.
