Whisty exists because I just wanted to share the stylish things that I see all the time. I am always curious to see if other people appreciate and like them as much as I do.
I grew up with fashion; our mum used to be a dress-maker and worked for a fabric designer in London. It meant being surrounded by patterns, sketches, fabrics and pins and needles at home. All of which were constantly dodged or moved in order for my lil sis and me to find somewhere to sit down!
I have no doubt that growing up in such a creative atmosphere led to my interest in fashion; I wouldn’t be writing a style / fashion blog if I wasn’t really into it so I need not go on. I will say however that my piggy-bank is very often empty which means I have to try twice as hard to make sure I don’t get bored with my wardrobe. On the plus side, it does lead to some pretty frugal fashion posts.
