Hey All,
I just got sent the images from the new A/W ’11 collection from Irish designer Sinéad Doyle. The collection is called ‘Amalgamate‘ and combines ‘tailoring and corsetry with luxury silks and wools’. This use of luxury-fabric-on-luxury-fabric has created a tactile, wearable collection.
Going through the look-book images, what really stood out most from this collection were the details; woven leather panels, corsetry and structured tailoring, lacing, sheer silk chiffon trousers, rose-pink silk maxi-skirts, and jacket details like double lapels and ticket pockets.

Those double lapels are TO DIE (said in the manner of Bette Midler). Also, the woven leather… yes.
woven leather is my new holy grail!
