Thigh High’s are all mine!

So I bit the bullet and bought a pair of Penney’s (Primark) thigh-high boots. Initially I was really unsure about buying a pair of these boots from Penney’s, I just thought that, that much pleather would definitely scream ‘ho fo sho‘. Thankfully, there were these awesome faux-suede ones in-store on Tuesday and yup, €21! They have a 3 inch heel and a small 1cm platform. (check out the multiple metric / imperial measurements there!)

So I bought them, (obv.) put them on over a pair of grey, skinny trousers added some trusty layers et voila!  Close up here. I love them, I wore them all evening and did a fair amount of walking and standing so I think I may have found my wardrobe’s bargain of the season!  They also stayed up, I was really impressed, they aren’t actually very tight around the thigh, so I really expected to spend the evening tugging them back up my leg but that just didn’t happen.

Next, I have to try them with a mini skirt / dress but I shall be wearing them with tights, if anything it’s trés chilly in the evenings now and no-one wants to see ‘corned-beef’ thighs! More soon, promises! x
