This morning the Oasis store on St. Stephen’s Green was closed for two hours to allow the company’s designers to showcase the new AW09 collection to the Irish press.
I was lucky enough to receive an invitation and I am happy to report that the collection is fantastic. The colour palette is on-trend monochrome with pops of colour, there are embellishments and structure everywhere and enough key pieces to make you drool…
Which incidentally, is exactly what I did when I saw this amazing dress. Unfortunately I was taking a sip of coffee at the time and therefore drool and coffee ended up all down the pristine lapels of my new white linen blazer… Grrr Pesky designers making me swoon…
Anyway, the collection is gradually being phased in to stores over the next few weeks with dresses in this week and finishing with winter coats and that eighties structured dress by September. Plenty of time to save up then!
Insider knowledge… Little Boots loves the collection and even wore this gorgeous green sequinned shift dress to a recent event!
