Dublin’s Crafty Market July

“On the first Sunday of each month 45 stall holders set out their wares in an indoor market for you to browse and buy.  Don’t pay through the nose for handicrafts in exclusive shops when you can purchase them straight from the artist in a fun market environment where haggling is encouraged”.

Need I say more? Newmarket is a great and growing spot for new, fresh and exciting designers to showcase their wares, this Sunday, July 5th The Crafty Market is open from 11-5 in the Dublin Food Co-op building.  Irish Design shop will be there and they have kindly drawn up directions on how to get there from Christchurch.

Directions from the city:

Walk down the hill from Christchurch onto Patrick St. Opposite the Cathedral take a right turn down by Chartbusters and at the lights take a left onto St. Luke’s Avenue. After the bus stop there is a flight of steps on the left leading onto Newmarket Sq. If driving continue past the bus stop and take the next left turn, before the traffic lights.

Cole out in the Cold

Metaphorically speaking thankfully, because a young lady out in this number wouldn’t want a chilly night out on the tiles. Cheryl celebrated her birthday in London last night and made sure she was the centre of attention in this €5000+ Alexander McQueen see-through dress. It seems only yesterday (actually the day before yesterday) that I was singing the undeniable praises of sheer mesh, plus I adore McQueen… trust a WAG to go and spoil it! What on earth possessed her to wear this? It is completely unflattering and makes her look desperate. What a shame, it’s another case of the WAG that tried too hard.

Her band mate Nicola Roberts on the other hand looks sophisticated and classy in this mint green, lace-trimmed Paul & Joe Resort 09 dress. The colour looks incredible on her, I’m not a huge fan of matchy matchy but these shoes work and I love the black bag. Her casual expression is proving that Nicola Roberts is the Girl we are Aloud to watch. (Pun-tastic!)
