This Years MTV Movie Awards saw the cream of Hollywood’s starlets turned out in their best cocktail dresses to show the world that they are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to the style stakes. Apart from Sacha Baron Cohen’s alter-ego Bruno ‘accidentally’ bum-in-face-ing Eminem, the MTV awards were pretty darn tasteful. Here are a few of my faves from the red carpet…
Leighton Meester went full–on sexy in this Emilio De La Morena sheer dress and gave it some edge with these Brian Atwood purple suede heels – absolutely my fave outfit of the night
Ashley Tisdale in a deep purple Elise Overland dress with a gorgeous studded belt oversize clutch and bling cuff. I am lusting after those shoes too!
Lauren Conrad does simple chic in this structured ruffle Moschino dress I love that her nails and lips are dressy but her hair is too casual. I would have liked to have seen a big, loose bun, low and to one side instead.
Vanessa Hudgens in a golden maxi, Max Azria dress the colour looks amazing with her dark bo-ho tresses and I love the tribal heels
Sienna Miller gets on the luxe sequins trend in this green, backless Twenty8Twelve dress. I’m delighted that she has managed to move on from her trademark boho look and proved her style-worth with a totally different look.
