I have just discovered the Irish version of Abercrombie & Fitch that goes by the name of Farrell & Brown. Designed by two fabulous Irish designers, Paula Hanley and Emma Wilson. It is a thoroughly Irish brand, their slogan is, Born in Ireland, Made with Love and Worn with Passion.
This awesome new brand is a young, cool and casual offspring of The Blarney Woollen Mills, it’s symbol is an Irish Wolfhound. Farrell & Brown opened it’s flagship store a year ago at No1. Dawson Street and they celebrated their first birthday last night with a fairground theme. Candyfloss, popcorn and ice-cream was handed out under bunting and paper lanterns.
They are also celebrating this mile stone by offering up-to 30% off certain lines to shoppers over this bank holiday!
N.B. They do a 10% student discount for the rest of the year.

Prices L-R:
Indigo & Pink Printed Polo Shirt €28.00, Jennifer Shorts €28.00. Grey Melange Hooded Sweatshirt, €55. Indigo and Green Striped Hoodie €54. Blue Striped Scoop Neck Blouse €38.00, Pink Check Scarf €16.00.

They have a very clear brand and message, and see how you can compare them to Abercrombie & Fitch. I like the mens rugby polo. As the sister company of Blarney Woolen Mills I would like to see a contemporary Aran Island Hoddie…..
Sounds Great. I shall keep you posted, I am waiting on the press pics from their latest collection and there was definate mention of a ‘young range’, of Aran knits…
If we’ve no luck there I shall pass on your recommendation! Such a cool idea!
