There are two types of jewellery in my jewellery box; the first type is the pretty, sensible, classic pieces that are generally expensive and nearly always silver. The other type is the fun, ‘ghetto-fabulous’ gold stuff that is big, chunky and hopefully as cheap as possible. Of course I absolutely adore my expensive stuff, but it is the Ghetto bling that I have the most fun wearing. Mainly because I can wear any of these pieces way fewer worries about losing them; if I lost one of my pretty pieces I could never replace them!
But I also love wearing the chunky pieces because they go with pretty much anything which means I can wear them with a Tee, jeans and boots as easily as I can them with a dress and heels. Wearing the chunky stuff is more about making a statement rather than simply wearing a necklace, meaning that it can change an entire outfit into something far more edgy .
I was given this awesome brooch last weekend as a gift,

I felt it was only right that I had to get some pieces to go with so I went on the hunt today in the second hand shops on George St. and found these incredible pieces.

The pony necklace was €9, the chunky gold chain was €6 and the Tom Binns style gold multi-chain necklace was €5!!! Thank-you very much!
